The Lagos state police command arrested a 50-year-old man, for alleged defilement of his 19-year-old daughter since she was 11.
The spokesperson of the state police command, Bala Elkana. In a statement, mentioned the suspect arrested after his 45-year-old spouse reported the matter on the Ikotun police station.
It alleged that the suspect’s incestuous behaviour found by his spouse at their Kajola Avenue, Ikotun residence. After she observed their daughter was being disrespectful in direction of her father.
The lady said to have requested her daughter what was wrong. She opened up to her mum that her father has been raping her since she was 11.
The victim mentioned her father threatened violence on her every time she resisted him. She additionally disclosed that the daddy instilled a lot worry in her that she discovered it troublesome to report back to anyone.
The suspect arrested by detectives from the Family Support Unit. He confessed to committing the crime.

The suspect detained, whereas the court adjourned the case for additional hearing till June 15.
