Nigeria recorded 226 new cases of the coronavirus confirmed by NCDC at 11:39pm.
131 are in Lagos which is the highest on the chart, followed by 25 in Ogun.
Number of fatalities elevated to 192, whereas recoveries elevated to 1,734.
Nigeria recorded 226 new coronavirus cases. 1 death was recorded in Nigeria. No new state has reported a case in the last 24 hours.
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control(NCDC), confirmed this in a tweet on Tuesday, May 19.
The new cases carry the total number of infections within the nation to 6,401.
Of the new cases, 131 are in Lagos, 25 are in Ogun, 15 in Plateau, 11 in Edo, 7 in Kaduna, 6 in Oyo. Whereas 5 each are in Adamawa and FCT.
Also, 4 each are in Jigawa, Borno and Ebonyi states. 3 in Nasarawa, 2 in Bauchi and Gombe. 1 each in Enugu and Bayelsa states.
The number of fatalities elevated from 191 to 192, whereas recoveries elevated to 1,734.
