The former Director-General of Imo Broadcasting Corporation. Sir TC Okere is on the run after allegedly stabbing his spouse of 50 years to death this morning.
The tragic incident reportedly occurred in Imerenwe in Ngor-Okpala council area of Imo State.
The murdered spouse was a retiree of the Imo State Polytechnic Umuagwo. The circumstances surrounding the alleged homicide by the former head of the state media company stays unknown.
The spokesman of the Imo state police command, Mr Orlando Ikeokwu (SP). Who confirmed the incident, mentioned that the police will quickly start an investigation into the matter.
“It’s true that the former Director-General of the state-owned broadcasting corporation TC Okere allegedly stabbed the spouse to death this morning and the command will quickly start an investigation into the matter.” He mentioned.
