Bishop T.D Jakes has become the latest influential American to lend his voice to the movement for the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of Nigeria Police Force.

The movement which has been backed up by nationwide protest has attracted the attention of many international stars.

The man of God recently took to his Instagram page to react to the movement. He shared a post with the write up ‘Nigerian lives matter‘ and accompanied it with a quote by Martin Luther King about injustice.

He wrote:

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere… Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.” – Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.#EndSARS”
This comes a few weeks after Bishop Jakes revealed he traced his roots to Nigeria and discovered that his ancestors were Igbos.
