Eid-el-Kabir: FG Declares 30th And 31st July, 2020 Public Holiday

The Federal Authorities declared Thursday 30 and Friday 31 July, 2020 as Public Holidays to mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir Celebration.

The Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, while making the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government, congratulated Muslim devoted and all Nigerians both at home and overseas on the occasion. He called on the Muslims to proceed to imbibe the spirit of love, peace, kindness and sacrifice, as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) and to additionally use the interval to pray for peace, unity, prosperity and the stability of the nation particularly because the world is witnessing world health challenges attributable to Covid-19 pandemic.
