Edo 2020: PDP Says Ize-Iyamu Now A Lone Ranger

On Wednesday, The People’s Democratic Party National Campaign Council on Edo governorship election, labelled the All Progressives Congress, APC, contender in the Edo guber election, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu in the same way as a loner now left to walk alone by leaders and chieftains of his party.

The PDP indicated this in a statement signed by Kola Ologbondiyan, secretary, publicity sub-committee of the campaign council.

Relating Ize-Iyamu as a political nomad “who has been hovering around without the backing and participation of his party in Edo State,” the party alleged voters are coming up to make their choice known on September 19.

Ize-Iyamu abandoned by his party as soon as the Edo state chairman of the APC, Anslem Ojezua, professed that the APC has no candidate and that such clarifies why he is not campaigning for Ize-Iyamu.

Nigerians currently see why Ize-Iyamu’s campaign does not have the contribution of APC members in the state and why he is wedged with the previous national chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole, fired from the APC by his kinsmen in his ward, furthermore has no party.

Ize-Iyamu’s rallies are focused only by chartered campaigners brought for him by the “partyless” Oshiomhole, from Kogi, Imo and other states.

The statement advices Ize Iyamu to stop wasting his time and humiliating himself by following Oshiomhole, leading him to nowhere.
