The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 195 new cases of COVID-19. Bringing the overall number of confirmed cases to 3,145. The federal health agency made the announcement through its Twitter handle at 12.01am on Thursday, Could 7.

Fifty-three more persons discharged, bringing the total from 481 to 534 recoveries. Whereas the number of fatalities elevated from 98 to 103.

Lagos state leads the pack in the latest report with 82 cases whereas Kano state followed with 30 cases. Zamfara state has 19 cases, Sokoto 18, Borno 10, FCT has 9, Oyo obtained eight, Kebbi and Gombe have 5 cases each. Ogun has 4, Katsina has three whereas Kaduna and Adamawa have one case each.
