239 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Nigeria – 97 in Lagos and 44 in Bauchi

Nigeria now has 4,151 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Total number of recoveries now 745 while death toll rises to 128.

239 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Nigeria on Saturday, May 9, 2020.

According to Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, out of the 239 new cases of COVID-19, 97 recorded in Lagos, 44 in Bauchi, 29 in Kano, 19 in Katsina, 17 in Borno, 7 in FCT.

6 new cases in Kwara and 5 in Oyo. 3 cases recorded in Kaduna and Sokoto each.

While 2 new cases recorded in Adamawa, Kebbi and Plateau states respectively. Lastly, 1 new cases also recorded in Ekiti State.

Nigeria now has 4,151 confirmed cases of COVID-19. 745 patients discharged from various Isolation centers across the country, while 128 deaths have been recorded.
