Xiaomi famously grasped a leading position in the smartphone business, and also created home appliances, and lifestyle products for its users. Now the 6Park reported that the Xiaomi Group is proposing to introduce a smart electric car.
According to some other various sources, the Chinese tech titan is analysing a strategic decision to produce the electric car. The sources also alleged that there are many variables. The project will directly be led by the smartphone maker’s Founder and CEO, Lei Jun.
Lei Jun visited the US twice in 2013 to meet with Tesla CEO Elon Musk. And now it appears that its interest in the field has grown. Furthermore, electric smart vehicles are becoming prevalent in the market. So, it is not shocking that if mobile manufacturing intends to expand its presence into an electric cars market.
Well, the company itself didn’t give anything officially though and not even responded to any question regarding the manufacturing of the electric car.
