President Muhammadu Buhari welcomed an august visitor in person of Roch Marc Christian Kabore of Burkina Faso.
President Kabore received by his Nigerian counterpart on Thursday, September 17, at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Top Nigerian government officials together with the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) chairman, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, were in attendance to give a pleasant welcome to one of the African leaders.
Granting the purpose of the visit has not been formally revealed, President Kabore led to the Aso Villa by the Nigerian leader where he was sighted signing on the visitors’ register.
Donned in Burkina Faso native wear, Kabore maintained social distanced with President Buhari and both African leaders were unable to embrace and shake hands in strict adherence to the Covid-19 safety protocols.
